The XINHONGXING unit Innovative Performance Consulting is more than consulting. Economical, strategical and operative factors are brought into connection with each other here, with the following goals.
Reduction of the piece costs
Increase of the process stability
Increase of the productivity
Reduction of the complexity
With this, a long-term interrelationship results for XINHONGXING and its customers, which makes a profit situation possible for both sides.
Which concrete benefits result?
Economical Process costs reduction
Productivity increase
Resource protection
Strategical Market advantages through technology lead
Support of the Total Quality Management
Sustained economizing
Operative Increase of the process safety
Systematizing of the process optimization
Constructive customer-supplier relationship

Camshaft Production
Customer goal: 20 reduction in tool costs
Approach to solution: Analasys of complete manufacturing line within the framework of an IPC project to identify potential for rationalization.
Result: pre-grinding and finish-grinding operations for the cam lobe were combined into one processing stage (previously divided into two process stages carried out on different groups of machines). The efficiency of the new process is so high that the machines which previously only handled finish-grinding can now cope with pre- and finish-grinding operations. No additional invenstment in new machines was therefore necessary.
Total cost effect: Savings of ?650.000/year for that production line.
Tungsten carbide milling cutter
Customer goal: increased production output with improved unit costs
Approach to solution: installation of a more effective flute grinding process. The solution was achieved by analyzing and optimizing the tools, coolant/lubricant and process parameters for the specific application.
Result / conclusion: by increasing the flute grinding traverse speed, the cycle time was shortened by 19 and the productive output increased by 24. At the same time the proportional costs of tooling were reduced due to their significantly longer service life. The costs of this grinding process were therefore reduced by a total of 30.
Total cost effect: savings of ?60.000/year per machine.
