Melt temperatures The standard melt temperatures for processing are between 280 and 320 °C. Lower melt temperatures lead to surface defects - particularly in the case of glass fiber reinforced grades. The cylinder temperature should be reduced to between 160 and 180 °C during production breaks, but the heating should not be switched off.
